これまでも／いまも／これからも土地に引かれる線　としての川へ

​大宮駅から荒川へ、バスと徒歩とオーディオガイドで巡るツアー型作品。新たに作った川、整備したゴルフコース。聞こえてくるのは、川を作り変え、土地を定義しながら生きてきた人間の話。さいたまで、"周辺" から "周辺を周辺と定義するための線" を目指して進む。わたしたちはどこにいるのか。この景色の持つ意味を知っていたのだろうか。

治水の観点で都市を捉え、その前提に迫ろうとする《Lines and Around Lines》の第二作。平野の一部としての東京を、都市国家シンガポールと重ねて語った「Case in Singapore / Tokyo」（2022）に引き続き、広大な空間と長大な時間の中で生きる人間の行為を追っていく。



Towards the river; the line which has been/is/will continue to be drawn across the land.

This tour-performance takes you from Omiya Station to Arakawa-river by bus and foot, with audio guide. The newly created river and the newly developed golf course. What you hear is the story of people who have lived by reshaping rivers and defining the land. Among Saitama, move from the "around" to the "line that defines the around as the around". Where are we? Did we know the meaning of this scenery?

This is the second work of "Lines and Around Lines", which approaches cities from the perspective of flood control and approaches that premise. Following on from "Case in Singapore / Tokyo" (2022), which talked about Tokyo as part of the plains and the city-state of Singapore, this work explores the actions of humans living in a vast space and a long period of time.
